Performs firefighting, fire prevention, emergency medical services and rescue work; maintains and cleans Fire Department buildings, grounds, and equipment.   

Requirements:  Age 18 or older, High School graduation or G.E.D., no felony convictions, no serious misdemeanor convictions for the past five years, vision correctable to 20/30 and excellent physical condition.  Candidates must possess or obtain the following certifications before being included in second interviews:  (IFSAC) Firefighter I and II and Emergency Medical Technician-B.    

SALARY:  $14.94 Hourly Wage during the 40-hour per week training period.

                     $10.67 - $16.06 Hourly Wage once assigned to the 24-hour work schedule.
